Painless

SoftTips are painless! They work everywhere that hard plastic and rubber tips are too painful to use.

precision

  • The shape of the tips direct how energy is transferred to the muscle/tendon/ligament. Ergonomic designs that contour closely to various body parts focus the percussive energy more effectively.

  • Incorporating adjustable impact levels allows users to control the intensity of the massage, which helps in delivering more energy to the muscle as needed.

powerful

  • Using materials that are softer and resilient transfers energy more effectively into the muscle without causing discomfort. Our soft silicone (Shore 00 - 40) is designed for medical applications not hardhats!

  • Our materials not only absorb shock but also redistribute the energy more evenly. This involves patent-pending layered designs and materials with specific energy transfer properties.

adjustable

  • The tips are engineered to respond to the nuances of applied pressure. At a light touch, they provide a gentle massage, ideal for sensitive areas or for warming up muscles.

  • As you apply more pressure, the tips progressively transmit more energy, allowing deeper penetration into the muscle tissue for a more intense therapeutic effect.

comparison

  • Hard tips are designed with an assumption about tissue thickness (between 0.5" to 0.75" under the tip), which may not accurately reflect the diversity of body types and muscle densities. This one-size-fits-all approach can lead to less effective energy transfer in tissues that do not match these specifications.

  • The described "bounce" in an "off and on" motion indicates a lack of consistent contact with the skin and muscle tissue. This intermittent contact reduces the effectiveness of the therapy by not maintaining a steady application of percussive energy. The bouncing effect also suggests that the energy transfer is less controlled and more erratic.

  • Being harder than the underlying tissue, these tips concentrate energy into small, focused areas. While this can be beneficial for targeted therapy, when used on larger muscle groups, it can lead to discomfort and less efficient therapeutic outcomes due to the localized intensity of the impact

  • The concentrated energy delivery and bouncing effect result in a more jarring shock transmitted back to the user's hand, fingers, wrist, and arm. This can lead to fatigue, discomfort, and potentially longer-term strain or injury for the user, particularly with extended use.
