- 01A: Calibration is simple and only needs to be done the first time you use the cuff if done properly. This sets your reference pressure: Lift the dial to unlock. Pull the strap all the way out. Push the dial down to lock. Rotate the dial clockwise to “0.” Your cuff is now calibrated and ready for use.
- 02Adjusting the pressure on your RockCuff - OSx cuffs is easy and ensures a safe, customized training experience. To tighten, rotate the dial clockwise 2 clicks, increasing the pressure by about 7 mmHg (10%). To loosen, lift the dial to unlock, rotate it counterclockwise 2 clicks while holding it up, then press down to lock it again. Each adjustment decreases the pressure by 7 mmHg (10%). This precise control enhances the effectiveness and safety of your training sessions.
- 03To maintain and enhance benefits, it is recommended to use your BFRT cuffs at least three times per week. Research indicates that using the cuffs twice daily can accelerate and enhance outcomes. For optimal results, ensure that there is a gap of four to five hours between sessions to allow for adequate muscle recovery.

- 07First of all, don't worry, if this happens, contact us and we will replace your broken cuff. Lace breaking or pulling out the of the dial happens about 1% of the time. The most common issue is that you have not "pre-loaded" the dial putting too much stress on the lace. To avoid this do the following before use. Cuff Preparation: Calibrate your RockCuff Lift the dial to unlock Pull the strap all the way out Push the dial down to lock Rotate the dial clockwise - set the marker to "0" This will take a lot of tension off of the lace. The second most common problem is that many people overtighten their straps thinking that the more they tighten, the more effective they are. This is wrong. Tighten as follows: The second most common problem is that many people overtighten their straps thinking that the more they tighten, the more effective they are. This is wrong. Tighten as follows: Place your Cuff 1. Place strap around arm/leg in the exact position show on the image. Dial facing forward. Logo facing inward. 2. Attach the tab to the hook. Pull the loose end of the strap snug. P 3. Set the loose strap with the brillo (the 2 brillos detach for proper placement) 3. Rotate the dial clockwise to create pressure as follows based on your arm or leg circumference: Adjust your RockCuff ARM 8" to 12" - 3/4 turn to 1 full turn 12" to 16" - 1 full turn to 1.25 turns 16" to 20" - 1.25 to 1.5 full turns. LEG 10" - 16 clicks 12" - 18 clicks 14" - 22 clicks 16" - 24 clicks 18" - 28 clicks 20" - 32 clicks 28 clicks = one full rotation + 2 32 clicks = one full rotation + 6 Each click = 3 mmHg Adjust tightness +/- based on your level of fatigue.

- 09A: Yes, RockCuff cuffs are indeed safer than pneumatic cuffs due to their enhanced efficiency, requiring 50% to 60% less initial pressure to achieve the desired blood flow restriction. This design feature reduces the risk of over-compression and related injuries, making RockCuff cuffs a more secure option for both fitness enthusiasts and clinical therapy patients. As a manufacturer of professional-grade blood flow restriction training equipment, RockCuff - OSx is committed to providing safer and more effective BFR workouts.
- 10A: Yes, RockCuff cuffs are significantly safer than traditional elastic BFR straps. RockCuff's advanced design requires 80% less pressure to achieve effective blood flow restriction compared to elastic cuffs. This lower pressure reduces the risk of potential injury and ensures a safer training or therapeutic experience. The reduction in required pressure makes RockCuff an excellent choice for both fitness enthusiasts and clinical therapy patients, aligning with our commitment to safety and effectiveness in blood flow restriction training.
- 11A: Yes, RockCuff Cuffs are indeed calibrated for precision. Each click on the dial represents an increment of 2.5 mmHg of pressure, allowing for accurate adjustments based on your specific training or therapeutic needs. This precise calibration ensures safer and more effective blood flow restriction (BFR) workouts, making it an ideal choice for both professional trainers and clinical therapists. By providing exact control over the pressure applied, RockCuff Cuffs help optimize performance while minimizing the risk of injury, aligning with our mission to enhance fitness and rehabilitation through innovative equipment.
